WWII Memorial in Saint-Malo


From 1942 on, the German Wehrmacht and the Todt organization start building a fortress in order to defend the Saint-Malo harbor and the Rance bay.
The stronghold of this "Festung" is an impressive set of heavy artillery stockpiles burried in the granite cliffs of the city of Alet.


These bunkers now house a Worl War II Memorial that can be vistited





from April to June, Thuesday thru Sunday at 14:00, 15:15 and 16:30.
from July to August, at 10:15, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00. These guided visits last about an hour. Infos : 33+(0)2 99 40 71 57.
